ABOUT ALYSIA
I come from a long line of creatives. My dad was in the interior design business for most of his life and even took up a hobby in photography in his retirement! My mom, is the most creatively organized person you'll ever meet. My grandmother, Rose, was a painter, sculptor and wedding cake designer. Although she passed when I was very young, I remember her carrying me down into the basement to show me all of her ceramics. I was named after her, Alysia Rose, and felt it very important to keep her name as the title of my artistic business. I was very artistic throughout my childhood, coloring, drawing and ceramics took up most of my time. As I got into highschool, I took every single art class that was offered that they created a class for me just so I could continue. I am blessed to have been awarded for my oil paintings and drawings.

More About Us
Let's start at the beginning. I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. I have two amazing children that are very busy teens just starting their journey into adulthood. I cherish every moment with them and they never cease to amaze me with their quit wit, creativity and tender hearts. Of all of my accomplishments, being their mom is my favorite. We have a little dog named Phoebe that gets more snuggles from us than she wants.

Photographs are more than pretty paper or bits of digital wonderfulness. Photographs have the ability to transport us back in time to some of the happiest moments of our lives. To me, they are memory triggers. When you have that album laid out of those pieces of art lining your hallways, all it takes is a glance to make you feel all the wonderful feelings that not only occurred in that moment, but all that happened before that to bring you to that time of your lives. Don't just leave your photographs on your phone or computer, because you know you aren't going to go scrolling through old photos often, Print them. Frame them. You deserve it.

We're storytellers...
I spend as much as I can outside walking along the Illinois River admiring the beautiful Bald Eagles soaring. They bring me such a sense of peace and amazement. Although I prefer to be in the moment with them, occasionally I do bring my camera and snap some photographs to enjoy even when tucked away indoors.
